Our Network

The Children with Disability NZ Network brings together a collection of websites dedicated to promoting inclusion, accessibility, disability awareness, education, family support, and community participation. Each website has been developed with a specific purpose, but together they form a connected network designed to support disabled children, young people, families, whฤnau, educators, support workers, councils, community organisations, and the wider public.

Our network has been built through lived experience and a belief that information should be easy to find, easy to understand, and available to everyone. Families often spend countless hours searching for resources, support services, educational materials, sensory information, accessibility guidance, and practical advice. By bringing these resources together under one connected network, we aim to make that journey simpler and more empowering.

Across our websites you will find disability awareness resources, inclusive stories, audiobooks, flipbooks, educational materials, sensory learning tools, accessible playground information, community advocacy projects, and practical guidance designed to help create more inclusive environments. While each website focuses on a different area, they all share the same goal: helping disabled children and their families feel seen, valued, respected, and included.

We believe inclusion extends far beyond physical access. True inclusion means creating opportunities for participation, understanding, belonging, friendship, learning, recreation, and community connection. Through our growing network of resources and websites, we aim to help build communities where disabled children can participate alongside their peers and where families feel supported rather than isolated.

The websites below form part of the Children with Disability NZ Network. Together they provide a growing collection of information, resources, tools, and lived-experience knowledge designed to support positive change throughout New Zealand and beyond.
